The story of LEONOR GREYL begins with the meeting of two passionate beings: Leonor, in love with hair beauty and health, and Jean-Marie, engineer and keen on botany. Together, they have the same desire: to create hair care of natural origin long before the surge of organic.

In 1968, when Leonor met Jean-Marie her future husband, she discovered the love of a man but also his passion for plants and his extraordinary knowledge of botany. The idea of creating hair care based on plants and natural active ingredients therefore naturally made its way: it was the birth of the LEONOR GREYL line, against the current innovations. The “eco-chic” first aid is born and quickly becomes references: the cult Huile de Leonor Greyl, Shampooing au Miel or the Lait Lavant à la Banane, and of course the famous Crème aux Fleurs…
Even today, LEONOR GREYL remains above all a family affair and is part of the transmission of this unique know-how. Under the leadership of Caroline Greyl, their only daughter, the brand is present in more than 450 hairdressers, in a hundred department stores, in selective perfumery and in nearly 40 countries around the world. Caroline carries the torch and hoists the colors of the brand, in France and internationally, and it seems that with her husband David Thomas Brooks, an American plant biologist, they perpetuate the family tradition in style…
